Job summary

PlayCore in Colorado is seeking a Design Technician to support preproduction, design, and sales through drafting, modeling, rendering, documentation, and product management.

You will assist in maintaining product libraries, managing data and fidelity across the website and catalog, developing standard details, tracking version history, identifying assembly conflicts, and creating 2D drawings from 3D models that conform to IDS drawing standards.

1. The Design Technician uses specific skill sets to support preproduction, design, and sales with specific tasks in drafting, modeling, rendering, documentation, and product management.

2. Supports Product Manager with maintaining and improving product libraries.

3. Manage data and maintain product fidelity across the website and catalog.

4. Assist in the development and proliferation of standard details across product groups.

5. Track and document product version history.

6. Identify assembly conflicts and flag for review.

7. Create 2D drawings from 3D model objects that conform to IDS drawing standards.
