Job summary

The Workroom Interiors in Mill Valley, CA is seeking a Design Assistant to join our fast-paced team. Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Canva and Google Sheets.
• Experience using Studio Designer for client profiles and product selection.
• Ability to manage budgets and track materials.
• Source products and coordinate with vendors.
• Attend client and on-site meetings and take notes.
• Develop vendor relationships and manage ordering/scheduling.
• Support design team during client installs.
• Keep sample library organized.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and discuss design concepts.
• Talk with vendors and contractors to source materials.
• Collaborate with designers to move projects forward.
• Attend client and on-site meetings and take detailed notes.
• Manage ordering and scheduling for product launches.
• Maintain and update the sample library.
• Style and assist during client install days.
• Track project budgets and materials.
• Commit to a full-time schedule (40 hours/week).
