Job summary

Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) is seeking interns to join our design teams in Chicago, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and St. Louis. You will participate in design processes, from concept to construction documents, and help prepare marketing materials while gaining hands-on experience.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in undergraduate design programs, proficient with drafting tools and MS Office, and possess strong English communication. Internship compensation is hourly.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an undergraduate design program with an accredited-degree track.
• Proficiency with computer-aided drafting tools and MS Office.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support project design efforts, including concept studies and layout.
• Assist in programming, schematic design, and construction documents.
