Job summary

IPS-Integrated Project Services is seeking a Design Project Engineer II to provide technical leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary design projects at its Cary, North Carolina office. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a Project Engineer role, preferably in the AEC, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences industries, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. The position involves ensuring design compliance and collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a Project Engineer role, preferably in AEC, Pharmaceutical, or Life Sciences.
• Expertise in engineering design programs and BIM tools.
• General knowledge of system design and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination for multidisciplinary design projects.
• Support project leads in resource planning and work plans.
• Ensure design compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Conduct internal design coordination and review meetings.
