Job summary

APCO is seeking seniors and recent graduates for a full‑time, paid internship across our New York, Washington DC, or Raleigh offices. The program blends multimedia production, design, and strategy within in‑house teams, with opportunities to contribute to high‑profile brand work.

Interns will work 40 hours per week, with a hybrid schedule: work from home or in the office on Mondays and Fridays, and in the office Tue–Thu to engage with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Recent college graduate or senior in class standing.
• Portfolio that demonstrates expertise in design, typography, composition and color.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
• Previous work in an agency or in‑house creative team preferred.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist our internal teams with multimedia creative projects.
• General production support, including photo sourcing and retouching.
• Incorporate edits to print and digital projects (examples: one-pagers and social media graphics).
• Prepare/edit PowerPoint presentations and Word documents.
• File management and archiving; collaborate with staff across disciplines.
• Monitor issues, news events and competitor happenings; research topics and analyze findings.
• Assist in the development of client proposals; support social media research and content creation.
