Job summary

J & J Precision, Inc. is seeking a Toolmaker with design experience to work at their Thomaston, CT facility. You will make precision tools such as jigs, molds and dies and holding devices to help turn customer designs into production.

The right candidate would work with our customer to bring their designs to life. The ideal candidate can visualize products to determine materials and machines required and will act as a liaison between customers and the production team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience in design of precision tools (jigs, molds, dies).

Responsibilities

• Make precision tools such as jigs, molds and dies to production specifications.
• Collaborate with customers to bring designs into production.
• Visualize product requirements to determine materials and machining needs.
• Serve as liaison between customer and production team; work independently or in a team.
