Job summary

Base is seeking a Design Intern to join our Creative team this spring/next summer, designing across paid ads, brand campaigns, and the visual systems that hold it all together. You’ll build scalable template systems in Figma and ship real work from week one.

You’ll collaborate with designers and marketers to iterate on concepts based on performance data and creative instincts, while developing your craft in a fast-paced consumer brand setting.

Qualifications

• Strong visual design fundamentals across typography, color, layout and hierarchy.
• Proficiency in Figma, including components and auto layout.
• Curiosity about what makes design work and the ability to form opinions.

Responsibilities

• Design creative on a weekly cadence across paid, brand, and campaign work while adhering to Base's brand system.
• Build and maintain reusable Figma template systems for fast variations.
• Conduct competitive research and bring back testable ideas from energy, DTC, and home services brands.
• Organize and curate a library of top-performing creative for the marketing team.
• Collaborate with designers and marketers to iterate on concepts using performance data.
