Job summary

Western States Fire Protection Co. (Delta Fire Systems subsidiary) seeks a Design Intern in Salt Lake City to support the Design Department on multiple projects, reports to the Design Manager, and assist with day-to-day activities.

You will prep submittal packages, perform data entry, and contribute to Fire Protection Designer duties, with the possibility of a post-graduate opportunity based on performance.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Drafting, Fire Science, Project Management, or other related degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Proficiency or knowledge in autocad related programs
• Possess sound communication skills; both verbal and written
• Ability to coordinate and work well with others
• Must be able to pass a post-offer drug test and background check

Design Intern

Western States Fire Protection is looking to add an Intern to its team to work 24-40 hours per week. The Intern will report to the Design Manager and support the Design Department with multiple projects, reports, as well as with day-to-day activities.
