Job summary

Alberici Constructors is seeking a Design Integration Associate (Mechanical / Civil) to support design-phase execution on design-build and related delivery methods across Alberici markets. The role partners with project teams to ensure design work complies with requirements and schedules.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 3–5 years of design experience, and progress toward PE licensure; DBIA/LEED/PMP credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of progressive engineering design experience.
• Design-build / engineer-procure-construct / integrated project delivery experience is a plus.
• PE licensure preferred; progress toward licensure acceptable.
• DBIA certification is a plus; LEED AP or PMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participates in design-phase kick-off meetings and supports pre-work.
• Maintains design workplans tracking task dependencies and weekly commitments.
• Attends design meetings and assists with agendas, exhibits, and meeting minutes.
• Manages design team through design changes, RFI resolution, and submittal reviews.
• Maintains centralized project information and documentation per best practices.
• Reviews design deliverables for compliance with RFP matrix.
• Supports risk matrices and design decision/change logs.
• Supports virtual collaboration with reports and tracking of coordination issues.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related technical field

Professional engineer (P.E.) licensure or progress towards

DBIA certified professional (DBIA certification) is a plus

LEED AP or PMP Certification is a plus
