Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a DFM Engineer to turn customer concepts into production-ready designs. You will translate customer job files into robust 3D models and detailed drawings, guiding them through documentation and handoff to manufacturing.

Collaborate with the development team to ensure design decisions are recorded and traceable, and ensure ITAR compliance in all design data and communications. This role requires strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects from kickoff

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering; or 5+ years of relevant experience demonstrating advanced knowledge gained through experience and continuing education.
  • Experience translating customer job files into manufacturing-ready designs.
  • Familiarity with ITAR compliance and documentation controls.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and refine customer concepts into clear project objectives.
  • Estimate effort, set timelines, and coordinate stakeholders.
  • Create manufacturing-ready models and drawings for shop-floor use.
  • Own project scope, schedule, and quality from kickoff to release.
  • Communicate proactively with internal teams and customers about expectations and changes.

As our DFM Engineer, you will translate requirements from customer job files into robust 3D models and detailed drawings, then guide those designs through documentation and handoff to manufacturing.
