Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking a Design Evaluation Engineer to join the Precision Amplifier Group and work with marketing, design, test, assembly, quality, and applications engineering to bring a concept to mass production.

The ideal candidate has experience with amplifiers, ADCs, power management, PCB design, analog circuits, and software development, and will perform device evaluation, debugging, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful product releases.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in EE or ECE or equivalent experience.
• Basic knowledge of Analog/Digital circuit design and test techniques.
• Familiarity with circuit evaluation using bench equipment (spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design experiments and analyze complex data.
• Organizational and analytical skills for aggressive schedules.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.
• Team player in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural environments.
• Clear, accurate written and verbal communication.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform device evaluation, characterization, and debug across all operating conditions.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify, simulate and correct device functionality and/or performance.
• Participate in team meetings and activities.
• Follow through on commitments and communicate issues in a timely manner.
• Share knowledge and information readily.
• Support hardware/software development for automation/test capability including debug and tool drivers.
• Collaborate with Design and Test on bench to ATE data validation.
• Communicate effectively across a global organization requiring collaboration.
