Job summary

SOM, a global practice of architects, engineers, and planners, invites current architecture students to join its Summer Internship Program. You will learn from experts across design disciplines, build your design and visualization skills, and contribute to world-class projects through in-person and virtual opportunities.

The program runs June 7, 2027 through August 13, 2027. Applicants must be returning to school in Fall 2027.

Qualifications

• Current student in an accredited bachelor's or master's degree program in architecture or related field and returning to school in Fall 2027.
• Some experience in the architectural profession or associated arts.
• Strong design capabilities as demonstrated in portfolio or work samples.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino and visualization software.
• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
