Design Engineer with high IT affinity (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Responsible for the design and calculation of mechanical components
• Accompanying the development and realisation of concepts for product maintenance and new developments
• Carrying out feasibility analyses based on technical performance data
• Initiation of process and cost optimisations
• Support in IT project management (work flow creation, user support for database structures, product configuration, test bench development, ERP system administrator / project manager and key user)
• Commissioning and coordination with IT service providers
• Collaboration on the basic documentation/risk analysis

Profile

• Technical studies in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least two years of professional experience in the design of mechanical or electrotechnical components is desirable
• Sound knowledge and experience in using 3D CAD software (Solid Edge desirable)
• Experience in using calculation programmes (Mathcad desirable)
• Strong understanding of IT including sound knowledge of ERP, preferably proALPHA
• Good knowledge of English is an advantage
