Job summary

Chromalox is seeking a Design Engineer to support product group design efforts, creating concepts that meet specifications and guide manufacturing and validation processes. You will collaborate with Product Managers and sales staff to ensure designs are robust and compliant with agency approvals.

Responsibilities include developing concepts, ensuring manufacturing feasibility, supporting tooling and QA performance, and delivering projects on time with accurate data reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creating design concepts for new and existing customers that conform to specifications and performance requirements.
• Ensuring designs for manufacturing meet customer application parameters.
• Providing design support to manufacturing and manufacturing engineering to ensure manufacturability.
