Job summary

Race Winning Brands (RWB) seeks a Design Engineer to join its engineering team. You will work cross-functionally to bring valvetrain and engine component solutions to market, applying solid mechanical principles and CAD proficiency.

The role requires 3+ years design engineering experience, a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and hands-on CAD work in SolidWorks or AutoCAD. You will contribute to design, drawings, GD&T, and documentation, partnering with management, manufacturing, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years design engineering experience.
• CAD experience: SolidWorks required; familiarity with AutoCAD beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Design – SolidWorks (Current Release).
• Create and maintain 3D models and drawings library.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of standard design procedures.
• Execute design of new products under direction of the Engineering Manager.
• Create detailed engineering drawings and GD&T specifications.
• Perform fitment and tolerance stack analyses.
• Understand CNC machining and manufacturing processes.
• Understand FEA and CFD; SolidWorks Premium is a plus.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support core business and on-time delivery.
