Job summary

L&T Technology Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design thermal and ventilation systems in AC/DC power modules and data centers. The role includes developing drawings for integration of mechanical systems and creating layout drawings for equipment and power distribution.

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Thermal Engineering with about 6 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience interpreting construction drawings, CFD analyses, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Thermal Engineering.
• 6 years of experience in thermal/ventilation design for data centers or related facilities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Experience interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• MS Office proficiency for documentation and reporting.
• Experience with CFD analyses is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design thermal and ventilation systems for AC/DC power modules and data centers.
• Prepare drawing packages for integration of mechanical systems and layout drawings for equipment.
• Coordinate with facility structural design and electrical systems on layout and interfaces.
• Review and approve mechanical product submittals.
• Support CFD analyses and related thermal simulations.
