Job summary

LiveKit is looking for a design engineer to translate a new brand identity into a living web system. You’ll craft components, motion systems, and tooling to ship on-brand experiences for livekit.com, balancing aesthetics with performance.

You will collaborate with brand designers and marketers to push the boundaries of a developer-facing marketing site, delivering fast, polished pages and campaigns.

Qualifications

• Exceptional front-end engineer with production web work.
• Fluent at translating brand and design intent into reusable components.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on motion, interaction, and performance.
• Able to ship polished work without waiting for perfect specs.
• Strong collaboration with designers to elevate ideas.

Responsibilities

• Own the craft of livekit.com — push the boundaries of developer-facing marketing site with motion, interaction and performance.
• Engineer our brand identity into a living system: components, motion patterns and tooling for fast branded work.
• Build launch pages, product pages and campaign surfaces with a high bar without slowing teammates.
• Treat performance as a feature — ensure rich experiences stay fast and defended by budgets.
• Partner daily with brand designers, marketers and design engineers to ship on-brand web.
