Job summary

Katalyst CRO is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional to work on CAD/layout development using CATIA V5/V6. You will develop 3D models and 2D drawings, resolve layout and drawing issues, and manage BOM weights and prices in a hybrid onsite role.

Requirements include a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering, strong technical writing, and the ability to coordinate with suppliers and team members on multiple projects. The assignment runs Sept 2026 to March 2027 with potential extension.

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5 & V6.
• Layout and drawing issue resolution and DPM management
• BOM Price and Weight targets management.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as needed.

• Standards, Guidelines, and problem history documents.
• Preliminary BOM.
• Checklists.

Required Skills

• Requires a BS or MS in engineering and all the skills and abilities of Engineer L2.
• Must be proficient in technical writing and possess computer skills for scientific and technical applications.
• Must be able to proficiently handle multiple projects and develop analytical procedures.
• Must be able to work with suppliers to assure parts/services are requested appropriately, evaluate technical proposals, and write technical reports.
• Make technical decisions with moderate supervision.
• Able to work with a team or on an individual basis to reach project goals.
