What you'll do

• Produce detailed designs for electrical components
• Build prototypes and run testing to validate designs, troubleshoot problems, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability
• Manage multiple design projects at the same time
• Pinpoint opportunities to refine designs for better efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs
• Prepare technical documentation
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to confirm designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, aligned with industry standards, and that product specifications meet or exceed expectations
• Verify designs comply with applicable industry standards and environmental regulations
