Job summary

Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio in Atlanta is seeking a qualified individual for immediate, full-time employment in our showroom. You will translate hand-drawings into floor plans, develop cabinetry orders, and support project management with direct client and contractor communications.

The ideal candidate is proficient with 3D software (SketchUp) and Microsoft Office, highly organized, design-minded, ethical, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate hand-drawings or sketches into floor plans and elevations.
• Experience developing mechanical drawings for plumbing, electrical, and lighting components.
• Familiarity with 3D software such as SketchUp (desired).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Energetic with strong design sense and attention to detail.
• Professional in manner, attitude and dress; ethical.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently.
• Capable of meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical development of projects.

• Skilled at translating hand-drawings and/or conceptual sketches into floor plans and elevations
• Experienced in the development of mechanical drawings for plumbing, electrical, and lighting components
• Talented using Google SketchUp, or similar 3D software (desired but not required)
• Capable of using typical Microsoft Office products for PC’s (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) with excellent written and verbal communication skills
