Overview

Infisical is looking to hire exceptional talent to join our teams in building the open source security infrastructure stack for the AI era. Were looking for a Design Engineer who is excited to own and elevate the user-facing experience of our rapidly growing platform. Infisical is a deeply technical product with user and developer experience at the heart of our product philosophy. We obsess over product design and have redesigned features such as secret syncs and secret rotation, and developed new product lines like Infisical PKI and Infisical SSH.

Youll be working closely with the co-founders and engineering team to:

Responsibilities

• Translate product requirements into intuitive user experiences, focusing on complex infrastructure and security workflows.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable UI components using React and TypeScript.
• Ensure performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across all parts of the frontend stack.
• Lead frontend architecture and implementation for newer product lines like Infisical PKI, Infisical SSH, and Infisical KMS.

Requirements

• Deep technical mastery of the JavaScript ecosystem, particularly React and TypeScript (3+ years of experience).
• Exceptional attention to detail and eager to learn.
• Exceptional eye for product design and UI/UX.
• A bias toward action – able to make decisions with incomplete information, iterate quickly, and take calculated risks.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
• Based in North or South America.

Bonus

• Familiarity with the latest trends in frontend development.
• Has some understanding of devops/developer tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

How Youll Grow

In this role, youll play a pivotal part in shaping Infisicals future exploring creative product directions, owning key design decisions, building out platform interfaces, and refining existing user experiences.

Overall, youll have the opportunity to take full ownership of design engineering at Infisical and be one of the defining pieces of our team as we scale to thousands of customers over the next 18 months.
