Job summary

Tirumala Industrial And Allied Services is seeking a CATIA V5 Design Engineer to support aerostructure development. You will convert 2D drawings to 3D models, perform BOM extractions, and specify manufacturing methods and special operations from detailed drawings.

Responsibilities include preliminary Make-or-Buy classification and working with CATIA V5 workbenches (Part Design, GSD, Assembly, Drafting) to deliver accurate aerostructure designs.

Qualifications

• Ability to extract and prepare BOMs from lists and drawings.
• Identify manufacturing methods from engineering requirements.
• Identify special operations from engineering drawings.
• Perform preliminary Make-or-Buy classification as per strategy.
• Convert 2D drawings to 3D models in CATIA V5.

CATIA V5 Design Engineer / Aerostructure

Preferred candidate profile

• xtract and prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) from parts lists and engineering drawings.
• Identify manufacturing methods based on engineering requirements.
• Identify special operations and requirements specified in engineering drawings.
• Perform preliminary Make-or-Buy classification as per the current strategy (training will be provided).
• Convert 2D detailed and assembly drawings into 3D models using CATIA V5.
• Work on CATIA V5 workbenches, including Part Design, Generative Shape Design (GSD), Assembly Design, and Drafting.
