This role is posted on behalf of a client whose mission is to build the world's best video foundation model for human motion and emotion. They allow creators to generate expressive, talking head videos from just a single image. The client has raised a $10M seed round from top investors and has been featured on the All In Podcast, front page of Hacker News, and voted a top 5 product on Product Hunt.

The client believes the winners of this GenAI wave will be vertically integrated. They are looking for talented folks to help grow the momentum of their rapidly growing user base, with over 1M videos generated on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and implementation of core product experiences - from rough sketches to shipped Next.js frontend.
• Translate high-level product ideas into intuitive, elegant UI.
• Build responsive, interactive web apps using TailwindCSS, ShadCN, and React components.
• Collaborate with founders, AI researchers, and customers to understand what delightful feels like.
• Set the standard for visual polish, UX quality, and design consistency across the product.
• Help evolve and maintain a component design system and UI toolkit as the product scales.

Qualifications

• Have a strong eye for visual design and UX - can spot when something is off and know how to fix it.
• Are fluent in modern front-end tools: React, Next.js, Tailwind, and component libraries like ShadCN or Radix.
• Are comfortable jumping between Figma and code - sometimes within the same hour.
• Love sweating the details: microinteractions, layout spacing, and accessible design patterns.
• Thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and enjoy wearing multiple hats.
• Want to be part of a generative AI company training their own models.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with product analytics (e.g. PostHog, Mixpanel) to inform UX improvements.
• Nice to have: You are a regular user of genAI tools for image, video, and audio generation.

Compensation

• $140k-220k.
• 0.5%-2.0% equity.
