Job summary

MXD Process in Plain City, OH is seeking a Design Engineer to design Mixers, Tanks, and Systems, and to support sales, production, and product support. You will learn product applications and processes while delivering precise engineering drawings and technical guidance.

On-site role focusing on 3D design, BOM maintenance, and close collaboration with internal teams to meet customer needs and project timelines. Strong SolidWorks skills and hands-on experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 5+ years of related experience if no degree.
• 3+ years in mechanical/design engineering.
• SolidWorks experience required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• High degree of initiative, mature judgement, and self-motivation.

The Design Engineer will design Mixers, Tanks, and Systems, as well as provide technical support to sales, production, and product support. The Design Engineer will learn and develop knowledge of products, customer applications, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design 3D drawings per customer specifications
• Effectively communicate with the customer about the design and obtain an approved drawing.

Qualifications (Must have either a degree or equivalent experience)

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Degree may be substituted with 5+ years of related experience.
• Preferred Experience with Degree
• 3+ Years in Mechanical Engineering or Design Engineering
• SolidWorks experience required
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong technical skills.
• High degree of initiative, mature judgement, and self-motivation.
• Ability to solve problems in a constructive and positive manner.
