Qualifications

• A degree in Engineering Technology.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least two years of hands-on SolidWorks experience, including part design and assembly creation.
• Ability to create 3D models and assemblies and prepare and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, including screwdrivers, wrenches, and drills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, analysis, testing, and safety agency approval of electromagnetic and mechanical assemblies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for existing products.
• Manage assigned engineering projects, coordinating activities, tracking progress, and maintaining project documentation.
• Create, review, and check engineering documents, including 3D models, assemblies, detailed 2D drawings, laboratory reports, and technical specifications.
• Work with the Assembly Department to troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues.
• Use engineering simulation software to evaluate designs and support product development.
• Build prototype assemblies, conduct tests, analyze results, and document findings.
• Support ISO-related documentation and quality activities, including FMEA, SWOT analysis, and related records.

Summary of essential job functions

• Participate in the design, analysis, testing, and safety agency approval of electromagnetic and mechanical assemblies.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, or fluid control systems.
• Understanding of engineering principles related to pressure and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Familiarity with engineering document management systems.
• Understanding statistical analysis and its application to engineering and testing.
