Job description

The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing electrical components. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements.

  • Create detailed designs for electrical components.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics such as efficiency, torque, and durability.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost‑effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
Requirements
