Zaddy Solutions is seeking a Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize electrical components in Ohio. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that meet performance, efficiency, and reliability requirements.

You will create detailed designs, develop prototypes, conduct testing, and ensure manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with standards while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 1-6 years of experience in design engineering.
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

  • Create detailed designs for electrical components.
  • Develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance metrics.
  • Work closely with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, meet industry standards, and ensure product specifications meet or exceed expectations.
  • Prepare technical documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance designs for improved efficiency, reduced weight, and lower production costs.
  • Ensure designs comply with relevant industry standards and environmental regulations.
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
