Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Thru-tubing specific technical service line schools preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience in oilfield/industrial environment preferred.
• Experience in ISO 9001 environment is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years experience in thru-tubing service.
• Minimum 5 years in working in technical innovation roles such as R&D, design engineering, etc.

Responsibilities

• Do effective cost based analysis for both projects and manufacturing of said projects.
• Work with the operations team and the technical manager to develop goals for new IP and sustaining engineering.
• Work with technical manager to create assembly documentation for BFOT components.
• Aid in the creation of reports on failures for BFOT.
• Aid in the creation of intellectual property.
• Aid in the creation of document standards for the organization.
• Aid in the creation of brochures for engineered components.
• Research competitor IP and create better when necessary.

Engineering Conroe, TX Full-time $120,000 - $150,000 per year

About This Position

Work closely with operational personnel and the technical manager in the region to create all manner of technological advantages for BlackFox. These projects will involve creating intellectual property (IP), the documents associated with IP creation, technical, and legal documentation creation, software initiatives, intellectual property creation, and technical customer aid. Other responsibilities include early process studies, technology evaluations, and creating development initiatives. Specific Responsibilities:

• Create SOPs for component implementation
• Manage project time efficiently
• Do effective cost based analysis for both projects and manufacturing of said projects
• Work with the operations team and the technical manager to develop goals for both new intellectual property and sustaining engineering
• Work with technical manager to create assembly documentation for BFOT components
• Aid in the creation of reports on failures for BFOT
• Aid in the creation of intellectual property
• Aid in the creation of document standards for the various parts of the organization when necessary
• Aid in the creation of brochures for engineered components
• Research competitor IP and create better when necessary

Requirements

• Proficiency MS Suite, SolidWorks, Engineering Drawings, Telegram, and other such web based and PWAs
• Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, component failure analyzation, and communication of the aforementioned technical concepts
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
• Must possess flexibility and the capacity to handle a wide range of situations and personalities
• Must be able to travel as the need arises
• Pass the required physical examination and drug screen as well as a Motor Vehicle Record check
• Clean driving record, verified by MVA report
• Occasionally requires long and irregular hours and changes in location of work assignments
• May require work to be performed in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and around vibration, loud noise, potential of fumes or airborne particles, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
