Job summary

Eagle Group in Clayton, Delaware, is seeking a Design Engineer to create working designs of custom equipment, aligning customer needs with manufacturing processes, CAD standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role demands detail-oriented problem solving, ability to work independently, and strong CAD experience using OnShape, Creo, or SolidWorks. On-site position with commuting distance to Clayton.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Formal education in CAD software (OnShape, PTC Creo, Solid Works preferred).
• Associate’s degree in engineering or related technical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and develop design solutions to meet customers’ needs.
• Create working models and shop drawings utilizing 3D CAD software.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Material (BOMs) for custom designs in support of manufacturing and MRP requirements
• Interpret approved submittals drawings, project specifications, industry standards, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards to create manufacturing documents for fabrication.
• Maintain organized and accurate engineering files and records within company systems
• Collaborate with teams inside and outside Eagle to clarify and outline design details.
• Continue to drive innovation across operations
• Other duties as needed

About the Role:
