Job summary

Sotalent is seeking a Design Engineer to support civil infrastructure, site development, water/wastewater and transportation projects in the Cincinnati area. The role targets engineers with 3–10 years of experience looking to expand technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility.

You will develop designs and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D, perform analyses, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–10 years of engineering design experience in civil infrastructure, transportation, site development or water/wastewater projects.
• PE licence, or ability to obtain licensure, preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant engineering analysis or modelling software.
• Working knowledge of engineering codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Experience preparing construction documents, technical specifications and permit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and relevant engineering analysis or modelling software.
• Working knowledge of engineering codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Experience preparing construction documents, technical specifications and permit documentation.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
