Senior Design Engineer – BMS HVAC/Mechanical/Control Systems (Critical Facilities)

Edison Smart is hiring on behalf of our client – an established engineering consultancy delivering cutting‑edge automation, BMS, and control solutions across mission‑critical facilities worldwide.

Salaries: $110,000–$180,000 per year, plus 10% bonus.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver detailed control system designs, network architectures, and instrumentation drawings.
• Conduct site surveys, vendor oversight, and technical reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
• Mentor junior engineers, setting the standard for precision and efficiency across all deliverables.
• Support project management and business development efforts through client meetings and technical presentations.

What You Bring

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience (8+ years).
• Proven background in control systems design, BMS, EPMS, or SCADA implementation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and sequence of operations.
• Solid understanding of IT/OT network infrastructure and low‑voltage system integration.
• Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; working knowledge of Revit, Visio, and Bluebeam.
• Experience with one or more of the following: Rockwell RSLogix, Siemens Step 7, Schneider Ecostruxure, or ALC WEBCtrl.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
