Qualifications

• Associates degree in drafting or equivalent preferred.
• Exposure to drafting software is highly preferred.
• Understanding of sheet metal building components or pre-engineered metal building systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project drawings and bills of materials for standard and 80% C1 custom building product lines.
• Enter and maintain data in manufacturing software.
• Create parts including project drawings and entering data in manufacturing software.
• May include checking of bills of materials and drawings for standard buildings.
• Read and interpret contracts and other documents including work requests, site plans, product improvement memos, and layout sketches.
• Visit job sites for training on new parts and erection methods as available.
• Assist with answering telephone calls from customers and erectors regarding building designs.
