Job summary

HDR is seeking a Design Coordinator in the United States, Texas, San Antonio. The role focuses on architectural design, documentation, and coordination across project teams.

You will collaborate with owners and project managers to advance sustainable design and deliver high-quality spaces. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s and preferably a Master’s degree in Architecture, with credentials toward registration and strong skills in Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp and related tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture and a path toward professional registration.
  • Master's degree in Architecture preferred with credentials to obtain registration.
  • Experience with Revit and related architectural tools; strong graphic presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, select and apply architectural techniques to architectural construction documents.
  • Perform architectural assignments with general instructions from the Project Architect or Project Manager.
  • May work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures.
  • Write specifications covering architectural matters and perform code reviews.
  • Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians across all phases of the architectural process.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
