Job summary

Roche Diagnostics seeks a Sub-Chapter Lead DCE US to guide a team across US sites, acting as the key R&D contact to implement core development processes, risk management, requirements, and configuration management in development projects.

You will hire and train staff, coach reports, drive process improvements, and shape DCE strategy while navigating a changing organization with a balance of compliance and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in natural or engineering sciences with at least 8 years of industry experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a diagnostics development environment and proven line management experience.
• Deep experience in Diagnostics product development and thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems and related R&D processes.
• Pragmatic and solution‑oriented mindset balancing compliance, efficiency and risk.
• Ability to navigate a changing organization with objectivity, openness and consensus-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Control Excellence US Subchapter and deliver process support activities within timelines, budgets and resources.
• Manage relationships with R&D Networks and with Quality and Regulatory functions.
• Drive efficiency and identify, communicate, manage and mitigate project issues and risks in a timely manner.
• As line manager, design and optimize team members’ development, coach reports, hire and train staff, and ensure up-to-date technical know‑how.
• Lead process enhancement activities and diagnostics-wide process improvements.
• Lead organizational change management to enable new ways of working and application of processes.
• Contribute to DCE strategy and Roche Diagnostics’ overall success.
