Job summary

Alaska Village Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Development and Key Accounts team in design and construction projects over a million dollars. Travel to remote communities by small aircraft is required to inspect work and ensure progress.

This full-time role requires a bachelor's degree in Management or Engineering and three or more years of project management experience; CAPM or PMP credentials are preferred. Office and field mix in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist project manager with tracking, budgets, change orders and close-out.
• Prepare meeting minutes and manage tasks with consultants.
• Lead design and construction tasks under $1M under supervision.
• Coordinate with grant accounting for reporting deadlines.
• Support village development and site control activities as needed.
