Job summary

ITT Goulds Pumps seeks a Co-op in the iProd Design Center for Spring/Summer 2027 in Seneca Falls, NY. You will support pump design, mechanical calculations, FEAs, and data analysis while rotating through product development and testing labs.

This hands-on program pairs you with experienced engineers and mentors for real-world engineering experience. The role requires enrollment in a mechanical engineering degree, a 2-year coursework background, and availability January–August 2027.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering/mechanical engineering technology or similar.
• Completed 2 years of related college coursework.
• MS Office and 3D modeling experience required.
• FEA experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pump design that includes mechanical design calculations and FEA.
• Work in our R&D Test Lab to assist with the assembly and disassembly of pumps, supporting various testing and development activities.
• Plotting and analyzing test data.
• Analyze inspection reports and perform scan comparisons of cast/machined parts to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Generate new and update existing pump curves.
• Updating product models and drawings.
• Preparing technical documentation, as needed.
