Job summary

Palisociety is seeking a Design Associate to work directly with Avi Brosh, the Executive Founder and Chief Creative Officer, shaping design concepts from sketch to opening day. You’ll collaborate with Matt Fisher and the design team to keep hotels fresh, relevant, and on-brand across new builds and renovations.

The role is fast-paced with a steep learning curve, offering a direct line to the creative source and opportunities to influence brand-wide styling across multiple properties.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in interior design, architecture, or hospitality design studio.
• Portfolio showing materiality, detail, and design sense.
• Curiosity about hospitality, design, art, fashion and culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts, space plans, and directions for new hotels and renovations.
• Translate conversations or sketches into sketches, CAD drawings, and digital mockups.
• Curate design boards, palettes, and presentation decks to communicate vision.
• Follow trends and build a library of ideas for future projects.
• Walk hotels to refresh lobbies, guest rooms, and F&B spaces with a fresh eye.
• Assist with FF&E procurement, vendor pricing, lead times, and documentation.
• Maintain materials library and project binders.
