Job summary

BANDD DESIGN is seeking a Design Assistant to support the designers with day-to-day project management, architectural drawings, material sourcing, and pricing with vendors. The role reports to the Principal Designer and team, with a monthly car + phone stipend and potential for growth.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree related to design, 1+ year of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Mac, and G Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields.
• 1+ year of related work experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Mac applications, G Suite.
• High knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications.
• Strong multitasking and ability to work independently or with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and administration to the principal designer and team.
• Generate architectural drawings including reflected ceiling plans and elevations.
• Spec and source materials for design projects, including sample ordering.
• Collect and verify pricing and availability for material items for projects.
• Travel locally to job sites, showrooms, and stores.
• Business development for the firm as needed.
