Job summary

EH Goodman Architects seeks a talented Design Architect to lead design and conceptual development for diverse projects. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and construction teams to deliver tailored solutions while emphasizing sustainability and collaboration.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant experience, a professional architecture degree, and proficiency in Revit, rendering software, and Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture from an accredited institution.
• 5–10 years of experience with minimum 5 years in similar roles, preferably in community-based, faith-based, educational and residential projects.
• Licensed Architect preferred or in active pursuit of licensure.
• Proficiency in Revit, rendering software and Bluebeam.
• Technical knowledge of Michigan Building Codes and specifications.
• Strong portfolio showing design presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and detailed project documentation from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients and project teams to refine design ideas and align with goals.
• Create visual presentations, drawings, and renderings to communicate design intent.
• Use industry-standard design software to produce presentations and construction documents.
• Lead or participate in design reviews, refining details with feedback.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and sustainability standards.
