Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect in Columbus, OH, to join the Advanced Facilities group and design state-of-the-art mission-critical facilities. You will lead teams, coordinate drawings, and mentor junior staff while engaging with clients on design quality and delivery.

The role requires a professional architecture license in the US, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency with Revit. Hybrid work policy applies, with onsite construction work and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• Professional Architecture license in US.
• At least 7 years of architecture experience; familiarity with building codes and specifications.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Effective interpersonal, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work onsite for construction work.

Responsibilities

• Perform architectural design and analysis under supervision.
• Lead design teams and coordinate construction drawings, specifications, and model creation.
• Attend project meetings and help resolve concerns across disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and coordinate small to medium architecture teams.
• Drive workflows and embrace new technologies within the discipline.
