Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Design Architect to contribute to award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build delivery. You will design buildings using Revit and coordinate all disciplines for client review and approval.

The role requires at least 5 years related experience, a Bachelor's in Architecture, and proficiency with Revit, rendering, publishing tools, and MS Office. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years related experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Demonstrate program experience in Revit, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with internal architectural and engineering team members.
  • Ability to work independently at times when given a set of instructions.
  • Ideally you’ll also have RA/architecture credentials and PM involvement.

Responsibilities

  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for Conceptual Design, Schematic Design, and Detailed Design Phases.
  • Design work to be reviewed and stamped by a Registered Architect.
  • Periodic travel to construction sites should be anticipated.

As a Design Architect, you’ll join our team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery. You’ll design various types of buildings using mainly Revit and will plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval.

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
