Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Design & Installation Engineer to design, install, commission, and deliver projects across the marine sector. The role blends design work with hands‑on installation and site delivery, including travel to UK and overseas locations.

You will develop electrical and mechanical systems, produce schematics, and manage projects from concept through completion while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Confident using AutoCAD or similar design software.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical and mechanical systems.
• Lead and support installation projects from concept to completion.
• Carry out testing, commissioning, fault finding, and troubleshooting.
• Produce technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.
• Work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver successful projects.

My client is looking for a Design & Installation Engineer to join their growing team. This is a varied role combining design, installation, commissioning, and project delivery across the commercial and leisure marine sectors.

If you enjoy turning ideas into reality, solving technical challenges, and seeing projects through from design to installation, this could be the perfect opportunity.

The Role

• Design and develop electrical and mechanical systems.

What We Are Looking For
