Ligne Roset Chicago showroom is seeking a passionate sales professional to join our team. You will work with retail clients and the design trade, guiding them through the Ligne Roset collection to find the perfect pieces for homes.

This role emphasizes building relationships with interior designers and architects, supporting both showroom and trade projects, and growing retail and trade business in the Chicago area.

Responsibilities

• Learn the Ligne Roset collection, materials, finishes, and customization options.
• Welcome and assist showroom clients, understand needs, present the collection, and guide purchasing.
• Follow up with showroom visitors and inquiries to generate sales.
• Develop relationships with residential designers and architecture firms within your territory.
• Introduce designers to Ligne Roset via showroom visits, presentations, and outreach.
• Invite designers to showroom events, lunch-and-learns, and new collection previews.
• Support retail and trade projects from concept through completion.
• Assist with floor-planning and furniture selection.
• Participate in trade shows and design industry events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues.
• Create an inviting, organized showroom environment.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Job description

The role

You will be an important part of our Chicago showroom sales team, working with both retail clients and the design trade. Your primary focus will be creating exceptional client experiences, developing sales, and guiding clients through the Ligne Roset collection to find the right products for their homes. In addition to retail sales, you will have the opportunity to develop relationships with interior designers, and architects throughout Chicago and the surrounding area. You will support trade clients and projects, introduce designers to the Ligne Roset collection, and develop new trade business both within and outside the showroom. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about design, enjoys building relationships, and wants to develop their sales skills while learning about luxury furniture and design. You will have the opportunity to grow your retail and trade business.

What you will do

• Introduce them to the Ligne Roset brand and collections through showroom visits, office presentations, and outreach.
• Invite designers into the showroom for presentations, lunch-and-learns, and new collection previews.
• Support retail and trade projects from initial concept through completion.
• Assist with floor-planning and furniture-selection.
• Participate in trade shows and design industry events.
• Work closely with the appropriate internal team to resolve client issues.
• Create an inviting and organized showroom environment.
