Job summary

The Arizona Grand Resort & Spa is seeking a Grounds Maintenance worker to support our golf course by maintaining greens, tees, fairways, and landscaped areas. The role includes operating a wide range of grounds equipment and performing routine maintenance throughout a desert environment.

Preference is given to candidates with 2 years of golf course maintenance experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2 years of golf course maintenance preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Experience with herbicides/pesticides a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain golf course areas including greens, tees and fairways.
• Prepare and plant sod, trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Operate and maintain ground maintenance equipment and tools.
• Maintain turf through aerification, slicing, and topdressing.
• Perform general groundskeeping tasks such as raking, weeding, trimming trees, and fertilizing.
