Job description

Are you passionate about food and enjoy identifying flavors, textures, and aromas? We are seeking a Descriptive Sensory Panelist to join a trained sensory evaluation team. In this role, you will evaluate a variety of meat and plant-based food products, provide detailed sensory feedback, and help support product research and development.

Selected candidates will participate in a paid training program to learn how to objectively evaluate food products using standardized sensory analysis techniques. Upon successful completion of training, panelists may be considered for ongoing, long-term panel sessions.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate a variety of food products for taste, texture, aroma, appearance, and other sensory characteristics.
  • Accurately describe and rate product attributes using standardized evaluation methods.
  • Participate in sensory panel discussions and work collaboratively to reach objective evaluations.
  • Record observations and provide detailed written and verbal feedback.
  • Attend all required training sessions and scheduled panel evaluations.
  • Follow testing procedures and maintain confidentiality regarding products being evaluated.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
