UNMC's Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology seeks a transplant hepatologist to practice at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines, IA. You will deliver advanced living-donor, reduced-size, and auxiliary liver transplantation with a full-time academic appointment.

Join a collaborative transplant team, participate in a robust tumor board, and coordinate care across central Iowa, with strong teaching, research, and academic mission support.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required; board certification/eligibility in gastroenterology.
• Specialization in transplant hepatology required or eligible.
• Academic appointment with teaching/research expectations.

Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative multi-disciplinary transplant team.
• Provide expert care in living donor, reduced-size, and auxiliary liver transplantation.
• Coordinate care for complex hepatology and transplant cases.
• Engage in teaching, research, and program development.

Education
