CCMS & Associates seeks a 1099 Field Adjuster in Des Moines, Iowa, to join our residential and commercial claims team. The role requires performing field inspections, gathering statements, and using estimating tools on site.

You will review coverage, prepare loss documentation, and report findings to clients while maintaining high accuracy and customer service standards. A valid driver’s license and at least one year of field experience are necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience
• Own current estimating software – Xactimate preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word required
• Strong time management and customer service skills

Responsabilités

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software
• Investigate claims by obtaining statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses and by interviewing officials and inspecting damages
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation and prepare reserve reports
• Obtain and interpret official reports
• Review coverage forms and endorsements and provide analysis in a well-documented initial report to the client
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices
