DigiPen Institute of Technology is seeking a Teaching Assistant for the DES 214 lab on the Redmond campus. You will assist the instructor with equipment setup, student presentations, and lab support, while also helping with grading as needed.

This student role requires in-person presence, adherence to lab schedules, and a track record in DES-214 or DES-240 with a GPA of 2.5+ to qualify. The position runs through fall term with limited hours.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work during the lab times listed above with no class conflict.
• Must be able to work in-person on Redmond campus.
• Must have taken and passed DES-214 or DES-240 previously with a B or better.
• Have an extremely strong desire to help others succeed and learn.

Responsabilités

• Attend the entire DES 214 lab every week.
• Assist students with projects in labs and during published office hours.
• Check off progress on projects.
• Attend an additional 30 minute training session each week.
• Grading outside of the labs is not required, though that may occur during midterms/finals.
• Accountable for tracking and reporting hours worked.
