Qualifications

• Surgical Technician certification and/or MA certification as required by state.
• Current BLS/CPR training as required by state.
• Experience as a surgical technician; dermatology-specific experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED; EHR experience highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for visits and procedures.
• Arrange surgery room instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Document patient information and clinical data accurately.
• Complete documentation in EHR and paper records while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and procedures.
• Respond to patient questions or complaints to resolve them promptly.
• Perform tasks per provider orders and dermatology practice guidelines.
• Operate equipment per guidelines and maintain surgical rooms and storage.
