Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs, seeks a Registered Nurse (Specialty Care) for the Dermatology Clinic in Ambulatory Care. You will apply the nursing process, provide direct patient care, and supervise nursing staff within dermatology/ambulatory settings.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency and valid RN licensure are required.
• Graduate of an approved nursing program with RN license.
• Experience in Dermatology or Ambulatory Care preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care and educate patients is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based specialty care in dermatology/ambulatory clinic.
• Administer medications and procedures per policies and guidelines.
• Coordinate care, health promotion, and patient education.
• Lead nursing education, orientation, and quality improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Adhere to ANA Standards of Nursing Practice and professional guidelines.
